The mission of the Electrical Energy Systems (EES) group is generation and dissemination of knowledge to support the supply and efficient use of electrical energy for a sustainable society.

The focus of the research is on:
• Methodologies for planning, design and operation of future, sustainable electricity supply systems
• High amounts of renewable energy generation and flexible demand
• Emphasis on smart medium-voltage and low-voltage networks.
